In alignment with the 2025 Work Safety Month theme, “Everyone Must Value Safety, Everyone Should Be Capable of Emergency Response – Identify Hazards Around Us,”?CTG?Asia-Africa?has rolled out a comprehensive safety campaign across its project sites in Pakistan, Jordan, and Egypt. Throughout June, diverse safety-focused activities are being implemented to reinforce a strong safety culture, enhance risk awareness, and improve emergency preparedness.
At the Karot Hydropower Project?in Pakistan, a series of targeted actions have taken place, including onsite safety training sessions, in-depth site inspections, and leadership-focused safety briefings for team leaders. These efforts aim to embed safety consciousness in daily operations and foster accountability at all levels.
In Jordan, senior management conducted in person site visits to ensure alignment with our safety goals. A site-wide safety awareness campaign was launched to strengthen safe work behaviors and reinforce key protocols among staff. In Egypt, a dedicated safety education session was organized for project leadership to enhance their role in promoting and managing safety measures effectively.
At the TGW Wind Power Plants?in Pakistan, management inspections were carried out to proactively identify hazards and implement timely corrective actions. A flood emergency response drill was conducted to test preparedness against natural disasters, supported by employee training on core safety procedures and prevention strategies.
These first-phase activities underscore CTG?Asia-Africa’s deep commitment to safety excellence across its regional portfolio. The second half of June will continue to build on this momentum, with further emergency drills, awareness initiatives, and action plans informed by audit findings.
