August 17-19, 2023 (China) Asia-Europe Business Expo and Asia-Europe New Energy Cooperation Promotion and Roundtable was held in Urumqi. More than 350 representatives from the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Regions Development and Reform Commission, the Secretary of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization(SCO), and other Chinese and foreign enterprises and institutions participated in the meeting, sharing experience and advice on the theme of? "New Central Asia, New energy, Great cooperation". A number of awards in the field of renewable energy were also announced at the conference, and CTGI was honored as the "2023-2024 China New Energy International Development Pioneer (ESG Category)? ".
Since the ESG concept was formally proposed by the UN in 2004, it immediately received positive response and high attention from the international community, and has now become the "Fourth Statement" for international investors. The Board of Directors and Management Team of CTGI also attach great importance to ESG. At present, CTGI has initially formed an ESG working framework of "Top-level promotion, Departmental synergy, and Full participation", determined the overall ESG Implementation Plan and working objectives, and is steadily promoting relevant works, as well as actively participating in the ESG training and exchanges, which has gained the recognition and affirmation of the industry.
This activity is one of the series of events of the Asia-Europe Business Expo 2023 (China), which is co-organized by the Ministry of Commerce of China, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), the People's Government of Xinjiang Autonomous Region, the China Development Bank, the Export-Import Bank of China, and the China Export and Credit Insurance Corporation (CECIC), and is co-organized by the Secretary of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), and other countries (regions).
